These are tough times in our country, and around the world. But, we cannot run. We must believe: believe in the inherent goodness of humanity, of our fellow citizens, of our collective abilities to overcome, reunite, and move forward.

True leaders lead by example, by being positive reflections of, and for, those being led. We need, more than ever, leadership that inspires us to do the best, be the best, we can.

Fear. We can let it consume us with certainty of failure — and failure we become — or we can turn it into focus, walk across that ladder, and embrace all we can be, all we want to be.
