Welcome!
This is the second stage of a much bigger virtual trek. If you haven't already, please begin with the "Muddhi Memories Tour," which starts in Kathmandu, travels east to Tumlingtar, up through Bhojpur to Salpa Silichong, down to Mahakulung, and then up the new Muddhi-Kongmedingma Trail to the Amphu Laptsa Pass.
The tour below begins where the previous left off, at the north side base of the Amphu Laptsa Pass. From there, we travel a bit north and then due west, under the imposing, impossible south wall of Lhotse and Nuptse, and down to the village of Chhukung.
In the weeks to come, I will add more panoramas, taking us from Chhukung to Dingboche and Lobuche, on to Gorak Shep and Kala Pattar, and then to Everest Basecamp. And, from there, we'll go higher, up the Southeast Ridge to the summit, make a foray up the West Ridge, zip into Tibet and visit the Kangshung Face, and then also climb the Northeast Ridge to the summit once more.
